Today started snowy and overcast but has turned into the best day we have had since we commenced our resupply. It is great to see the sun out and blue skies. We had a great morning of cargo operations with around half the hatch lids being completed. After lunch the long awaited weather window for refuelling came, the barge commenced deploying the fuel line while the teams in IRB’s (inflatable rubber boats) deployed the anchors to hold the fuel line. Once the fuel line is deployed and all the checks have been completed, pumping of SAB (special Antarctic blend) fuel will commence from the ship to the station fuel farms.
