Comments

Conditions have smoothed out considerably now we have entered the pack ice. Preparations continue for our anticipated arrival into Casey tomorrow. King Neptune and his helpers arrived today from the salty depths to anoint the first time sea travellers crossing the 60 deg South line. Around 23 travellers now hold a certificate dubbing them as “South Polar Sea Dogs”. After King Neptune slipped back into the murky depths, everyone enjoyed a BBQ on the trawl with a spectacular back drop and pleasant temperatures. REGARDS: Sharon, Fred and Jill
