Comments

Last night we enjoyed a BBQ on the trawl deck, the conditions were calm and the temperature was surprisingly mild considering we were outside in Antarctica. Again we were blessed with a magnificent backdrop as we cruised through the ice floes. It is hard to imagine that when we wake up in the morning all signs ice will be gone, except maybe for the occasional ice berg. This morning the few people on the bridge were very fortunate to see several humpback whales pass very close to the ship. We have continued to make good progress as the seas have remained calm for a bit longer than we had expected, allowing us a few more hours of comfortable sailing until the rougher weather kicks in. REGARDS: Sharon and Leanne
