Comments

Continued breaking through the fast ice off Davis overnight. By morning we were close to final parking position for resupply. We decided to fly people ashore to commence vehicle inductions while we continued the final positioning of the ship. With 38 people less on board, lunch was very quiet. Anticipation was building for those remaining as they were waiting for the ‘bing bong” to announce the Davis Station Leader had arrived on board. This would be their final briefing for the voyage, before they could walk off the ship and across the ice into station. The weather was kind to us today allowing several round trip projects the opportunity to be deployed into the field to commence their work. REGARDS: Sharon and Leanne
