The Trivia night run by Roger and Cassie drew a record crowd. It was scheduled to finish by 2100 but continued on until after 2200. A great night was had by all, with the bonus of raising some money for Camp Quality – gold coin donation to enter. Another Argo float was deployed around 2300, leaving us only three more to deploy.
As forecast the seas picked up just after midnight, ensuring a sleepless night was had by all. We have had a reasonably calm trip so far, with last night the first time we were seeing a taste of the “furious fifties”. Despite the seas being a bit rough there are lots of smiling faces around – some just excited to be here experiencing the Southern Ocean. In a strange way it can be disappointing to people to have a calm voyage and not have the chance to experience moving up and down in your bunk when trying to sleep, walking on a lean, timing your every move.

REGARDS: Sharon and Leanne
