Fairly smooth sailing conditions today with an overcast sky, possibly the lull before we hit some more inclement weather over the next couple of days. The talks program has been hugely popular. Tonight we have a double feature, first up a slide show on “Search and Rescue Teams at Mount Cook, New Zealand” followed closely by “the World Wandering of a Nature Photographer”. First of the field training sessions commenced today. Preparations are underway to ensure the volunteers of the Iceberg Observations team are ready to leap into action at the first sign of an iceberg. Two more Argo floats have been deployed overnight. REGARDS: Sharon and Leanne
