Comments

Mick Davidson talked last night about his adventures at Heard Island was
appreciated by many onboard. The flavour of the day has been
environmental management with Environment Officer Davidson reinforcing
with expeditioners wildlife distances and other environmental
responsibilities to protect Macquarie Island from human disturbance and
further introductions of alien species. Liaison by phone and email has
continued with the station in order to fine tune both cargo and
passenger operations expected to commence at daybreak tomorrow morning.

Cheers
