Yesterday we had another great day of smooth sailing and bright sunshine in the morning with clouds forming in the afternoon. We were kept busy with briefings and cleaning of our boots and clothing ready for arrival at Macquarie Island. Today the weather has worsened and the wind is blowing at 35 knots. The sea is getting bigger and the Lastrolabe is pitching and rolling a lot more. We will all be happy to arrive at Macquarie Island in the early hour of tomorrow morning.
