Comments

With the cooler conditions comes a bit more wildlife today: flocks of Short-tailed Shearwaters, a few more Cape Petrels, a Southern Fulmar or two, and everyone's favourite, the Light-mantled Sooty Albatross. And to top it off, a Humpback whale or three made an appearance, with one spy-hopping so close to the ship we were convinced he was going to end up with an orange stripe down his back. Other than that, we're going pretty well in good conditions. Anticipation is building as we get closer to the seaice, and Davis.
