Comments

Unfortunately the low cloud that was forecast for later today has arrived much earlier than Rachel's three forecasting models predicted with none of them predicting the snow which came with it.

As a result we awoke to zero visibility, relatively light (20 knot) winds, and real snow flakes which are surprisingly rare in Antarctica, as the wind normally knocks them into small pellets.

We have spent the day waiting for a possible window to fly the remaining cargo ashore. We only need a few hours but will have to wait until tomorrow I suspect.

Cheers

Andy, Margaret and Kate.
