Comments

Lumpy seas meant the ship was pitching a bit early this morning. By
10:30 they had abated and a muster drill was held with expeditioners
mustering on the heli deck.

After the muster expeditioners were asked to step forward and identify
skills that could be useful in an emergency. A surprising number of
expeditioners have confined access, fire fighting including use of
breathing apparatus, rope rescue, advanced first aid and many other
useful qualifications.

Most of the scientists have now discussed their projects with voyage
management in preparation for our arrival.

Later today we hope to have a phone hook up with the Davis Station
leader to continue plans for our arrival.

Cheers

Andy, Margaret, Kate.
