Comments

We arrived in the vicinity of Casey last night at approximately 2000 and decided not to come into anchor until this morning due to the wind. Everyone made the most of their last night onboard, enjoying having a cabin to themselves, as during the resupply they may not have this same luxury until the ship departs again.

This morning we rose to beautiful calm conditions. Everyone was up early, packed and ready to head ashore to Casey. By 0700 we were at anchor and ready for the station leader to come aboard to meet the new incoming team and brief everyone on the areas they can and cannot go around the station. Cargo commenced at 0800 and around 0930 everyone was on the barge and making their way into Casey where they were met by Elvis and a group of large penguins.
