Comments

It is a much quieter ship now with only 29 expeditioners on board compared to 84 on the voyage down! Having said that, it is a cheery bunch that are returning full of good memories of their time down south. We have been heading north through the pack-ice and have seen more wildlife on the way out than the way in to Davis. Numerous seals, and even whales have been observed from the bridge. After an intensive time during resupply, many expeditioners are taking the opportunity to catch up on some well-deserved rest. We will be stopping this afternoon to undertake some further acoustic testing from the trawl deck, prior to resuming our transit through the remainder of the pack-ice.
REGARDS: Karin, Sharon & Lance
