Comments

Another good day today picking our way amongst leads and polynyas (open areas of water in amongst the ice). There is a sense we are getting very close and we are now on Davis time. Yesterday during an ice recce we realised we were not as alone as we thought – two Indian vessels were sighted to the east of us breaking their way into the ice. On the social front, things are starting to wind up with the darts grand final scheduled for tomorrow evening, and the photo competition viewing tonight. Briefings for refuelling, cargo, and water operations continue in preparation for Davis resupply.
REGARDS: Karin, Sharon & Lance
