Comments

Last night we were treated to a slideshow and talk from our two Mawson expeditioners on board showing the amazing scenery and wildlife around Mawson station. There were some similarities, but also many differences, between Mawson and Davis station environs. A beautiful day out on the water today with sunshine, calm seas, and most of all the air temperature is incredibly mild. We really are in temperate waters now and one can almost smell that land is not far away. Everyone has been briefed about plans for our arrival, with cabin inspections and return of Antarctic clothing scheduled for tomorrow. Only two nights left on board now until we arrive in Hobart on Thursday 2nd December at 0700hrs.
REGARDS: Karin, Sharon & Lance
