Comments

Yesterday was a quiet day aboard with rough seas and heavy rolls from side to side at times. The scientific personnel have started to clean and pack up their equipment and general preparations are beginning for our arrival into Wellington. The sea bird count of species seen is still at 45 with the hope of identifying a few more species on the trip home and whale observations continue. The collection of acoustic data and water sampling activities also continue. The weather forecast for the next couple of days is not flash with strengthen winds and seas. It looks like a bumpy ride for a bit.

REGARDS:

Hully, Sarah and Nick
