Comments

We pulled the anchor last night due to the forecast changes in wind direction and strength. Conditions were not ideal when we returned this morning but we were able to anchor again and discharge helicopter sling loads of cargo. We also opened the hatches to the lower forward hold and were able to get six apple and tank huts out and lifted safely onto the LARC’s before conditions deteriorated to the point where we were forced to sea. We are currently sailing up and down Macquarie Island waiting for the weather to abate. A huge thanks to the boson and his crew and the LARC teams for doing such an exceptional job in very average conditions!

Regards, Andy, Mick and Karen
