Comments

Arrived on time at anchorage at Buckles Bay.

Training and briefings have paid off with a smooth operation so far. The Ranger in Charge and Station Leader came aboard to brief the team and the transfer of 43 passengers to Macquarie Island was completed before lunch. The Beachmaster and the Helipadmaster also came aboard and toured the extensive collection of diverse cargo we have to offload. The Light Amphibious Resupply Craft (LARC) has been put on the water and the first load of gas bottles has been taken ashore. After lunch the first of the
493 helicopter sling loads will be discharged.

Regards, Andy, Mick and Karen
