Comments

Routine ‘emergency muster’ drill conducted this morning for all expeditioners and crew. Further training was conducted later in the morning for specialist staff working with or around helicopters on the ship.
A majestic wandering albatross joined us for a while but unfortunately no marine mammals were observed in this period. A fierce competitive game of scrabble is presently being conducted in the lower decks by some expeditioners seeking an alternative to the ‘movie marathon’. Many hands hit the galley this afternoon to work with our resident cooks to turn out what we hope will be some of the best pizza we have had for a while.
Deputy Voyage Leader Mick has graciously offered his moustache in the interest of science and charity. This will be auctioned off at the fund raising event this evening.

Regards, Mick, Andy and Karen
