A weather window yesterday morning led us to fly eleven Mawson-bound expeditioners to the skiway at Davis where they proceeded directly to Mawson via fixed-wing aircraft. Six expeditioners from Mawson returned to Davis yesterday afternoon. We continued breaking ice with some great progress in the latter part of the day and overnight and at this moment are less than 100 m from the park-up point. As soon as we park and the brow is down on to the ice, the remaining expeditioners on board will head in to station to join their counterparts. The past two days has seemed extraordinarily long for them and all we be glad to begin resupply in earnest. We are ready to hit the ground running with the refueling deployment team having already completed their station and vehicle inductions, and all the necessary equipment checked and ready to be deployed.
