Comments

REMARKS: Unfortunately, conditions did not improve yesterday to enable flying for the sea-ice project, and remain the same at time of writing. We are currently awaiting further satellite images that will give us an indication if there will be any opportunity later today. We have been negotiating some heavy 1st year pack-ice which has slowed our progress overnight. Various plans are being discussed between the ship and station as we are being reminded by weather and ice of the need for flexibility in Antarctic operations. A talk on Marine Projects and the Diving Program by Cath King is scheduled for this evening.
Regards, Karin, Sharon & Adam
