Comments

Another very comfortable day at sea yesterday, with very calm conditions and clear weather, and the ship making good steady progress towards Macca. Regular whale sightings continued well into the evening. Today dawned with still very calm seas, but overcast conditions. Planning for our arrival has commenced, with initial work being done on organising to get the JCB articulated forklift barged ashore as well as a debrief on our Davis operation. A Russian ship was sighted this morning, but radio contact could not be established. Clocks advanced one hour today. Other op's normal, all well. regards Pete & Karin
