Comments

Sea conditions are calm and the second engine was engaged at first light this morning to try and make up some lost time. Now making good progress towards Davis and expected in harbour early this afternoon. King Neptune boarded the vessel with a band of his scruffy mates to indoctrinate a small number of Expeditioners, new to the area of 60 deg south - most will never look at chocolate pudding and kippers the same way again. Considerable excitement onboard with spectacular bergs surrounding the ship and birdlife increasing. Final planing sessions with Davis and preps underway for our arrival. Other op's normal, all well.
