Refueling ops continued right through the night and through 45 kt winds which made life unbearable for the teams involved and at the time of writing we are almost ready to pump from the 20kl isotainers having just about drained the ships tank of almost 580,000 litres of SAB diesel. All being well about another 5 hours of pumping and we will have topped up the station with almost 750,000 litres of fuel. Cargo ops resumed this morning with the jet barges managing the quickest turnaround of cargo and RTA this trip hardly surprising as we are only 50 metres from shore !! Plan for today is to complete discharge of cargo and continue backloading RTA cargo. Forecast indicates weather window oportunities exist possibly Saturday and or Sunday afternoon and we will suspend cargo ops if required to exit Horseshoe Harbour and then continue backloading of RTA from Kista Strait if need be. Failing that "It's Home, It's Mawson !" ...........well at least till the wind drops. Cheers, Micky & Deepy
