Completed discharge of all remaining Davis Cargo by 1030 hrs local then concentrated on all Davis priority cargo which was completed just after lunch before moving on to their opportunity based cargo. Davis Ops now completed with all manifested RTA cargo (just under 1000 sq/m and 200 tonnes !) loaded by 1600 hrs local. An outstanding effort by both ship & shore teams in the short time allotted for the Davis operation many thanks and a job well done ladies & gentlemen much appreciated. Organised a quick tour of the ship for the shore based team who have been unloading and loading this behemoth so they could not only see the difference in size compared to the AA but also the outcome of their efforts over the last 3 days whilst the last of the RTA was being secured for our leg to Mawson. Anchor raised @ 1800hrs (local) and departed Davis for Mawson. ETA Mawson 1800UTC or 1000hrs Wednesday 18th Feb 2009. 2 down 1 to go ......... Watch this space sports fans !! Cheers, Micky & Deepy
