Apologies for the delay in getting the SITREP out but have a had a cracker of a day on cargo ops since dropping the anchor @ 0530 hrs local with both reefers discharged, emptied and returned to the ship as RTA before lunch. Have cleared both tween decks #4 of all Davis cargo and have made a serious dent in the lower hold #4 port side cargo as well. Commenced RTA almost immediately on arrival with the lowers of hold #1 now full and most of the tween decks #1 also full. Too windy today to discharge the excavator from lower #3 but a favourable forecast from the talented Davis Met Team should see it and the 950 loader away before lunch tomorrow. Small problem with the ice core reefer going into alarm this morning but thanks to a team from Davis managed to transfer all the ice cores into the new and freshly emptied -18C reefer for the trip home in very short order thanks guys. Plan for tomorrow is to discharge the remaining Davis Cargo whilst continuing on with back loading of RTA, both 'ol boys (Davis SL & Ships Skipper) very happy with the days outcome as am I........it's all good with no drama and no sense of humour failures........Happy Days!!!.
