Comments

Better start to the day than yesterday with the remaining sections of the Wilkins Accom Sled discharged before smoko, all of Hold # 3 is now empty except for the Davis Excavator and Hold # 2 still has 2 x 40' containers yet to be discharged. Also cleared some 20 1/2 heights of ATK from the hatchcovers of Hold # 1 and have all but completed the delivery of the insulated building panels for the new extensions to the Redshed namely East & West Wings. DVL Deepy & Chief Officer Aleksay inspect RTA on shore this morning in preparation for backloading after lunch with our first load the former Wilkins Mess Van (40' er) in the hold by close of business. A much welcomed arrival of the new AAD Director Ms Lyn Maddock, Chief Scientist Mr John Gunn, Assets Manager Mr Tony Foy and Infrastructure Engineer Mr Jeremy Bonnice not only on station but also onboard this afternoon for a visit to observe both ship and shore based cargo ops. Cheers, Micky & Deepy
