Yesterday we saw McDonald island through the mist and rain whilst steaming past, following a bathymetric survey line in big seas. As the forecast is for similar conditions to prevail we have decided to Scoot over the the Williams Seamount before turning north for Fremantle. The Heard Island teams are about to launch into the complex task of collating all of the images and data collected over the last few days. Regards, Andy and Susan
