Continuing north in bigger seas. We should arrive at Heard Island later this evening. Much planning for the next few days with many planning and risk assesment meetings and briefings. Our two environment officers have been busy overseasing the scrubbing of the inflatable rubber boat and peoples boots and camera tripods. Everyone intending to go ashore has also vacuumed all their pockets, packs and camera bags to ensure no seeds are carried ashore should the opportunity ... Regards, Andy and Susan
