Comments

Arrived at the anchorage and commenced passenger transfers by Fast Rescue Boat at 09:00 after waiting for heavy mist to clear. By 10:00 the remaining outgoing passengers were ashore and the returning expeditioners had boarded the ship. Helicopter operations commenced with the transfer of remaining cargo, mostly passenger baggage to and from the ship. The three AS350 helicopters were loaded and stowed and we were underway by 13:00. We are now heading NNW to clear the heavier ice before turning W for Davis. Many thanks to all the Casey, Davis, and round trip expeditioners, the Helicopter Resources team and crew of the Aurora Australis for a Smooth, safe and expedient resupply and changeover. Regards, Andy and Susan
