We commenced pumping fuel at 1300 yesterday and finished at 0600 this morning. Total fuel ashore = 595,000 litres. The fuel line has been “pigged” and we are in the process of packing up the refuelling gear. The water resupply was completed at 0300 this morning, with a total of 265,000 litres ashore. Cargo operations are continuing. Lower No. 1 hold has been emptied and is now full of RTA. We have just commenced unloading cargo from Lower No. 2 hold. There was the possibility of a flight to Mawson this morning but it was cancelled due to weather. Casey expeditioners are continuing their field training and a second group of 8 will spend tonight on Gardner Island. Personnel changeover between ship and station will take place tomorrow. Our estimated time of departure is 2000 tomorrow. Everyone on the ship is well. It has been a great effort by all onboard, and on station, to get so much accomplished over the past 48 hours.
