Cargo operations commenced at 1400 yesterday and continued until 2000. All the heavy cargo is now off the hatch covers and we will proceed this afternoon with the lighter cargo in the tween deck and lower holds. Much of the RTA is already on the fast ice at the shore waiting to be back loaded. Water resupply ran successfully all afternoon yesterday and overnight, with 180,000 litres already ashore. This will be halted this afternoon to speed up cargo, then resume tonight which should see it completed. Fuel pumping has not yet commenced. We ran the fuel line yesterday but pressure tests revealed a number of leaks at the couplings. These were not fixed by 2330 last night so we called it a day and resumed at 0800 this morning. The line has since been re-tested and shown to have no leaks, so we will be pumping fuel by early afternoon and expect it to take approximately 20 hours. The S76s successfully retrieved the patient from Mirny yesterday and he is now at Davis. All onboard are well and providing great support on the 24 hour rosters.
