Comments

The weather closed in around dinner time last night and we’ve experienced blizzard conditions overnight and throughout today. The wind reached maximum gusts of 70 knots at times, but is now consistently around 40-50 knots. About 1-2 miles of ice has broken away from the fast ice edge, causing the ship to move position overnight. It is a much slower day on the ship following the last two days of flying operations. Some SAR training is taking place on the trawl deck. Regards: Tony and John
