Comments

Now that we are in deeper water, the voyage is settling into more of a routine and giving people a chance to catch up from the busy period over the continental slope. We continue to make excellent progress in good weather conditions. We have completed 4 more deep CTD stations and deployed the trace metal rosette and FRRF. Several humpbacks joined us for an extended visit during a CTD station yesterday. We still have seen little of the sun or clear skies for star-gazing and aurora watching, but snow falling in near-calm conditions provided some atmosphere for last night’s CTD profiles. Cheers, Steve and Deepy.
