Comments

We entered the sea ice at lunch time today. The bridge is full of people and cameras as we continue south to the first station over the continental shelf. The strong winds of the last 8 hours or so are forecast to ease as the low moves further east, so we are optimistic conditions will improve before we begin sampling later tonight. Cheers, Steve and Deepy.
