By the end of yesterday we had pumped 113000L of fuel ashore, which was a fantastic effort requiring many people to help. Overnight the wind blew at 50kts from the North and an uncomfortable swell developed. This morning the ship anchored in thick fog and 2m of swell in Buckles Bay as the wind eased. The station team again deployed the fuel line by LARC and zodiac, despite being unable to see more than about 300m through the fog and some swell in the bay. Fuel has now been pumping for about 3 hours and we hope to complete this operation today. We are still looking for opportunities to resupply the Hurd Pt hut, return cargo to the ship and support science projects with the helicopter. Field parties are starting to complete their work and move back to the station by foot. "Vsekh blag do zavtra" Robb and Andy.
