Comments

The LARC continued moving cargo back and forward all yesterday afternoon and by evening the wind had increased to a solid 50-60kts. This morning we had the deck stacked with cargo and ready to go, so flying commenced at 0700 with loads flowing ashore and back to the ship. The weather has continued to change all day with sunshine, rain, snow and wind. By lunchtime we had delivered all cargo ashore and now have only Hobart bound cargo to load. A fantastic effort by everyone in the challenging conditions. We hope to fly the bulk of remaining cargo onto the ship this afternoon if the weather holds. We have been watching the forecast and think that it may be possible to deploy the fuel hose and refuel the station tomorrow, but only time will tell. The round trip programs are going well, with lots of field activity, while the hut resupply is not far from completion. We still have quite a bit to do, however it is reducing steadily.
