Comments

Yesterday afternoon we succeeded in flying off a very heavily stacked deck of cargo. Using both helicopters 26 loads were flown ashore in 1 hour. This morning the weather has closed in so we have been back in Buckles Bay moving heavy items of cargo by LARC since 0800. We have also commenced the backload of cargo bound for Tasmania. The helicopters are unable to fly in these conditions so the field hut resupply has been put on hold for today. The field parties are continuing their work in the murk. We will continue to move cargo with the LARC all day, or until the weather improves enough to allow flying. The LARC crew and the teams on the ship and station are doing an amazing job in the cold, wet, windy and difficult conditions. "Vsekh blag do zavtra" Robb and Andy.
