Mmmm the sweet smell of cleaning products! The last couple of days have been characterised by preparation for our arrival – and a bit more movie watching and book reading. Yesterday all Antarctic clothing was collected – a great way to reduce the amount of gear that we need to carry off the ship tomorrow. Today is cabin cleaning day – which may sound simple, but for many of us will be an epic adventure to places never before explored. Clocks went forward another hour last night to finally bring us to Hobart time. There are a few sleepless beings wandering the corridors at night lately, and certainly no shortage of people to have midnight toast with as many struggle to accommodate the five time changes we have had on our trip back from Mawson. We will be alongside Macquarie Wharf 4 in Hobart at 08:00 tomorrow morning, access for visitors to see us is through the Macquarie 3 gates past the Port Tower. Cheers, Nicki, Rob and Peter.
