The weather gods are with as at the moment as the ship rolls lightly to a following sea. We are moving along quickly on two engines, making the most of these great conditions. Quite a few people have commented that it’s difficult to believe that we are really on the Southern Ocean at the moment – but past experience this voyage has demonstrated that we should be careful what we wish for. This morning saw everyone up on the helideck for an emergency muster drill – our regular Saturday outing. Clocks went forward another hour last night – we are now UTC+9 (2 hours behind Hobart time). Cheers, Nicki, Rob and Peter.
