With no break in the weather we are still cruising laps along the coast between Davis and Zhong Shan. Davis has reported an improvement in the weather there - but we are still experiencing winds at least 10 knots above the current forecast and very poor visibility with blowing snow. Maybe they are missing us or more accurately our abundant hot water, great food and vivacious personalities! We have turned back towards Davis and will assess whether or not we can get back into the harbour once we are closer to them - unless this weather abates considerably we will not be moving back through the ice today. Our spies tell us that all at Davis are enjoying their unexpected stay and that the work program has proceeded well in our absence. Those on board are now wishing for an improvement in the weather so that we can get back to Davis and finish what we started days ago - there are only so many movies you can watch and so many books to read before the promise of a few days hard work begins to look very attractive. Cheers, Nicki, Rob and Peter.
