Another great day at Casey for us. Refuelling was completed more rapidly than we had anticipated, with pumping stopped before dinner and all packed up by about 22:00 last night. Cargo has continued to flow ashore and RTA should commence this afternoon as we continue to discharge the lower hold. Round trip programs ashore are progressing well as the weather continues to be kind to us. The ship made a small move this morning to accomodate the change of wind direction that was forecast. As we continue to tick of tasks at Casey we are now planning for our visit to 'the Riviera of the South', Davis. We are avid watchers of the Mawson web cam at the moment - waiting for the iceberg that lodged itself in the mouth of Horseshoe Harbour yesterday to move. In relation to ice conditons for our approach to Mawson, and now this iceberg, the most commonly heard comment aboard is "it's nearly a month until we get there . . ." Cheers, Nicki, Rob and Peter.
