Comments

Another quiet day has passed on the good ship Aurora Australis. Yesterday afternoon the second installment of our lecture series saw one of our three Arts Fellows onboard, Craig Cormick tell us about the depiction of scientists in film. Last night saw the ship's roll increase much to some passengers discomfort however today we have woken to a relatively smooth sea and speedier progress towards Casey. The first of our six CPR (Continuous Plankton Recorder) runs is underway - we will sample for approximately 450 nm before we replace the cartridge and start the second sample. Cheers from Nicki, Rob and Peter.
