Comments

Our slow progress toward Mawson through variable ice in poor visibility continues. We are now north of the most promising line of weakness shown on Satellite imagery, and trying to head south to the east of Mawson. Regular thicker ice floes are slowing progress at times as is the visibility. The going has been slower than hoped, and we will now start looking at prioritising cargo where possible and a quick turnaround at Mawson as the weather permits. The weather outlook suggests Sunday will be continuing windy but slowly improving on Monday. Regards, Don and Hully
