Comments

Helicopter operations were completed mid afternoon yesterday with the return of the outgoing Casey Winterers. Just as well as cloud and increasing winds closed in shortly after we departed our little penguin pool of the last few days. The ship had made good progress overnight, initially following leads identified by Aerial reconnaissance, and we finally saw an iceberg close up as we steamed north West bound for Davis. We have had Muster today - well attended as usual, and enjoying a quieter day after the last few off Casey. Welcome to the Casey Winter team, and thanks to all involved at Casey and on the ship for a job well done. Regards, Don and Hully
