Comments

All 39 Casey expeditioners and baggage flown ashore in a long and successful day Tuesday, thanks to a lot of work from all involved. An ice recce was flown yesterday afternoon and a path plotted to move us a little closer - the ship broke ice between leads overnight and we are now stationary in heavy ice 12 Nm closer at 68Nm from Casey this morning. Operations commenced at 0800 with 10 tonnes cargo and a couple of sling loads to deliver. On the calculations it appears unlikely we will complete today but we will evaluate as we go. All well on the ship and a few less on board last night. Regards, Don and Anthony
