Yesterday's blizzard eased overnight, but the wind has still been 25-30 knots with snow showers and poor visibility all day. Due to weather conditions, we were unable to move the ship this morning, thus were content to call our current location Ice Station 11, and all science parties have been out on the ice collecting samples. A group exercise session was held after lunch to remove *a lot* of snow from the heli deck. The forecast for the next few days is for better conditions, so we hope to be underway again soon. Regards, Tony, Dave and Petra.
