A relatively quiet Sunday at sea, although the seas have picked up a bit from yesterday. Snow showers have been intermittent throughout the day, with a regular crowd of photographers on the bridge capturing spray and snow over the bow. Helicopter survival courses were held this morning. Last night we enjoyed an excellent quiz night that was well attended by scientists and the ship's crew. Progress has slowed due to weather but we anticipate arriving at the ice edge some time tomorrow. We again deployed the FRRF at 13:00 and have been towing the CPR. The 6th ARGO float was deployed at 06:37 this morning. Regards, Tony, Dave and Petra
