Finally a forecast break in the weather allowed us to position early at Buckles Bay. A major cold front passed through last night with wind turning SW and some clearance. Anchored 0630 and commenced Passenger fly off 0800. 50 passengers ashore by 1030 coinciding with arrival of a forecast warm front and rain. Cargo fly off commenced after lunchtime with heli fuel slung ashore and RTA empty drums returned to ship. LARC operational and awaiting. Helicopter Field party deployment completed, and with walking groups departing, we expect to have all field hut groups in place this evening. With another cold front and snow forecast tomorrow and an unsettled Westerly stream we are now well placed to take any opportunities for station and field resupply and refuel. The weather has, and will continue to dictate operations. Many thanks for an exceptional effort by all on station and ship. Regards Don and Brett
