Ships log 1200 " wind force 10 at times, whirlwinds observed" ..High winds continue unabated since yesterday, and increasing as the barometer drops with an approaching cold front. Little prospect of any operations today, and we continue to cruise off the East coast. All aboard ship briefed to within an inch of their lives and ready for the 1st opportunity. Ship and station advised to prioritise projects as we have unsettled weather ahead and will have lost 2 days by the end of the day. Station considering minimum refuel requirements. Morale on board excellent, with all expeditioners grateful to be in the lee of the Island, and to at least have some tantalising glimpses of Macca. Trial bait drop of Easter eggs conducted by Keith Springer last night with inconclusive results. Regards Don and Brett
